Don't let that pensive look fool you, I don't have secret wisdom, divine knowledge or esoteric secrets.

I enjoy good stories that make you think and reflect. If my writing makes you stop, look into the middle distance for a moment before returning to the page, that's my goal.

And if I can make you laugh a little along the way, so much the better.
Originally from Southern California, I went to undergraduate at the University of Notre Dame du Lac where I learned the meaning of "lake effect". After a seven year professional detour at the University of Maryland, College Park for graduate school I landed at Monterey Bay where I've been ever since. I started writing seriously in January of 2020, right in time to have nothing but time to work on my writing. I now have a creative writing certificate from Monterey Peninsula College, so when beta readers ask me what's wrong with me I can rely "I'm certified!"
I've written fantasy, fiction, historical fiction and science fiction... so far.
